| Survivor DVD Box Sets | | If anyone is interested, I see Amazon.com has probably all the seasons of Survivor on sale now - well actual price is $13.99 for each season. I liked several of them but not enough to buy a season. But if you have a favorite.. might check it out! | |
| | Do you buy DVD box sets of TV shows? | | I am collecting dvd box sets of my favorite 60's and 70's shows. Nothing on these days worth watching muchless buying. But that is just me....what box sets are you collecting? Do you collect the box set of shows you currently watch as they come out or wait till they cancel ths show and wait for them to come out? Do you watch a current show as it airs AND your box set of previous seasons? | |

| DVD box sets of series of favorite past shows - what do you watch? | | Now that full seasons of series shows and sitcoms are on DVD and you can get the box set of your favorites...and in my opinion, there ins't much on tv these days worth the electricity to turn the tv on....what are your favorite past shows and how often do you watch them? And could you do an all day watching the box set from season 1 to final season?I am a I Love Lucy fana nd have the seasons, but I don't have to pull them out as she is on every day at some point in time. But at night, yes I will put on the LucyDesi Comedy hour, those don't air much. I also like Gilmore Girls and could watch that for hours (while on MyLot!). What about you? What do you watch and how often and how long? | |
| | Buying DVd box sets of previous TV shows. | | When buying DVD's on places like Amazon.com and such, they offer you NEW and USED offers. Have you ever had luck with the used ones? I mean, athey are like half the price and if they are in fine condition with no scratches, why not buy them, but you are buying without knowing that. i am sure the seller isn't going to tell you they are scratched. But at the same time they are used and you don't know the condition. Any thoughts or experiences? I'm looking at the Andy Griffith Show Seasons. Low on money and just looking but $20 used vs. $40 new.... just gotta wonder and ask! | |

| Do You Buy DVD Box Sets of Your Favourite TV Series Home? | | If you love a TV series, would you buy the DVD box sets home and watch them all over again and again later? I do. Currently I own Ally McBeal and Sex & The City box sets and when I am bored or something, I will take them out and watch them again. One of my friends is a collector as well and he owns so many DVD box sets which is amazing (sometimes we will borrow from him*smiles*). We love owning the box sets because we could watch them again and we could watch them according to our own pace. What about you? If so, which TV series do you own? | |
| | Sex and the City Box Sets | | I am watching my sister-in-law's 6 seasons of Sex and the City. let me tell you there are many scenes that are not shown on the TV shows. Has anyone else watched these DVDs? | |

| What were your favorite shows as a kid? | | Which TV shows or movies did you love watching when you were a kid? On rainy days or sick days from school perhaps? xD
I loved watching the Disney cartoons like Timon & Pumbaa, Tale Spin, Gummi bears, Rescue Rangers and The new adventure of Winnie the Pooh. I also loved Fraggle Rock, Angry Beavers, Rugrats, the first Spongebob episodes and a bunch of other 90's cartoons like that. These days I'm seeing them come out on dvd box sets. I'd love to watch them, but I don't think I'd want to go out and buy a whole box set. | |
| | Do you enjoy a television series? CSI, CSI Miami, House, what do you enjoy! | | Okay, so we don't have cable, but there were several shows we started to watch before we moved. Now, I own some of them on DVD and enjoy watching them once in a while. For a long time my favorite show to watch was Charmed, but after the way the final season ended, I got a little turned off, oh sure I might watch an episode here or there, but I really feel that they rushed the final season. It could have easily been 10 seasons with everything they tried to cram into the 8th season. Lately, I have turned to the CSI shows and House, although each seems to be about basically the same thing. I like to watch the cases being solved. It is interesting to see how they come to a resolution. What shows do you enjoy watching? Do you own any of them on DVD?
