I was, obviously, not born on their generation, but my father was. I have this cassette tape of them given by my father, the year that I was not born yet. So, it's previous to me and has a lot of value. I love their songs, seriously, and still craving and continuously loving them.=) | |
| | Pink Floyd marching band? | | It was recently announced that my high school marching band will be doing a Pink Floyd show for our next season. I'm not sure whether to be excited or worried. We will most likely be doing a slightly modified version of the show the University of Arizona did in 1997 (look it up on YouTube), and I love that show, I'm just not entirely sure our band can pull it off. We did Aerosmith last year with an amazing response, but Pink Floyd is an entirely different feel. | |

Ever met the band in person, or any of the band?Well I can't say what my favorite pink floyd albums are. But I do have like a few of their tunes. My favorite floyd tune of all time is comfortably numb. I love getting together with people and rockin' that tune out. It sounds good on acoustic and electric. I've never been to a floyd concert. I think it would be cool to meet Roger Waters though. | |
