| | my daughters, age 7 and 16 just love the bee gees | | It all started when my husband brought home with him a DVD of one of The Bee gees concert latest concert when Maurice Gibb was still alive. You wouldn't expect that my two girls would be interested in it considering their songs are rarely heard on the radio nowadays, except maybe for some remake songs like the " How Deep Is your Love," "Emotion" and "Smile". But from then on early in the morning either my seven-year-old or my teenage daughter would seize the DVD and play it on. I just could not help but be amused when my young daughter would mimic Barry's voice and sometimes that of Robin Gibb. Amazing huh? Among their favorites are the trio's rendition of Immortality with Celine Dion and Alone. It was such a good timing when my teenage daughter had an activity in class and they were asked to present any song about friendship. Alas! she texted me through my mobile phone and asked me to look for a copy of Run to Me. It's absolutely a song about friendship and relationship between a child and a parent. Really, that song is beautiful. My officemates laughed when I told them about my daughters' interest in the Bee Gees. | |

| Meeting the Bee Gees | | I was lucky enough to meet the Bee Gees back in 2000. My daughters and I went on Vacation to Miami Beach and meet them at the Middle Ear studios. They are the kindest people. The stopped and talked, signed autographs, and took pictures with us. Has anyone else met them? | |
