What was the number one song on the day you were born?
This is just for fun. You don't even have to respond.[Of course, you never HAVE to respond.:-)]This site lets you see what song was number one in the U.S. on the day you were born. Mine was somewhat appropriate, since my dad was an alcholic! LOL "Moonlight Cocktail"Try it: http://www.joshhosler.biz/NumberOneInHistory/SelectMonth.htm
Finding Old Music...
I have been looking for some old songs... I mean really old songs for a very good friend of mine. My friend is 88 years old, and his birthday is coming up soon. He loves the songs from the 1930's and 1940's especially, but these are often difficult for me to find.He loves to sing karaoke, so I have been getting him several of the karaoke ones together as well, but I would also love to get him some of the originals. Does anyone have any suggestions whether for the karaoke versions or the originals?

Hi All,Jazz encompasses a vast array of distinct styles and artists, from the big band swing of Tommy Dorsey, to the free jazz experimentation of Albert Ayler. Are there any more popular and great Jazz musician in this world?

I loved the blues at 10pm, they were great bands in from Canada, USA, especially New Orleans, and Chicago,...

Every family had a father and a mother.Until I was 25, I called every man older t han me, "Sir". And after I turned 25, I still called every man older than me, "Sir" We were before gay-rights, computer- dating, dual careers, daycare centers, and group therapy. Our lives were governed by the Ten Commandments, good judgment, and common sense. I think people will be surprised with the answer. One evening a grandson was talking to his grandfather about current events. The grandson asked his grandfather what he thought about the shootings at schools, the computer age, and just things in general. The Grandfather replied, "Well, let me think for a minute.
